About the Artist
I’m Becca Denton, an award-winning visual artist with a passion for transforming what I’ve seen into timeless works of art. I work across a wide range of mediums, from pencils and soft pastels to inks and airbrush. I bring each creation to life with artistic intention and care, creating pieces that are as unique as the moments that inspired them.
Every artwork I create begins with a story. Imagined scenes shaped by the places I’ve traveled, the people I’ve met, and the beauty of the natural world. Whether it’s a quiet street in a small village, the rugged landscapes of Wales, or the poetic french countryside, I draw on the history and atmosphere of each location to capture a moment in time with a soft, elegant finish.
I often paint en plein air, immersed in the sights and sounds around me, whether standing in the heart of a bustling street or wandering through a silent forest next to a flowing river in search of the perfect view and view I can freeze in time. These lived moments full of life, texture, and emotion are what give my work its creative depth.
I create originals and also re-work my originals to make it suitable for prints. I love to create large art pieces back at my studio and also capture work in any size en plein air.
Each piece I create is an invitation for you as the viewer to pause and to connect, see the world through my eyes as an artist full of curiosity and quiet wonder about what i can capture from this magic in the moment around me.
